Geological Features

This photo shows interesting geological features.

The rock structures are time worn by Lake Superior

There is much wave action causing the rock to deteriorate

You will notice the pink rock, how worn it is.

It appears to be the underlying rock structure as seen in the blackish rock structure.

Of note is the small yellow leaves that offset the various shades of green

Pebbled beaches are a common site on Lake Superior

The wild and rugged beauty that is Lake Superior

Bassfin Lake 2

Bassfin Lake 2

Once again Bassfin Lake. The same location.

Different day with different lighting.

There is nice cloud cover.

I used the reflections on the water to the right as a lead in to the photo depth. Also for added dimension.

Bassfin Lake

Bassfin Lake is located in the Sudbury area.

You travel the Matagamasi Lake Road .

This is an interesting lake to photograph for its colorful rock structures.

Every trip I made here I appeared to be the only person on the lake

The best photographing was in the evening in low light.

Then the colors became warm and beautiful

Island, Onaping Lake

You will notice the evergreens that have reddish tops .

A sign of a disease maybe

AS a photographer i use that touch of color to my benefit.

It adds contrast and color to the photo.

It is to be observant to pick up on these small details

You may also notice the interesting cloud formation that morning
