OSA Lake Beautiful Colors

OSA8281a

This is an early morning scene on OSA Lake, Killarney Provincial Park.

Think of yourself sitting at your campsite, coffee in hand. A cool crisp morning.

Calm and peaceful

The La Cloche Mountains in Fall colors

Terry Lake

TerryLake

This is another favorite photo. Captured at Terry Lake in Killarney Provincial  Park. A stop for lunch on shore. The lighting was gorgeous. It took an hour to get this shot due to the wind being fickle.

To Appear Alive.

CameronFalls_0375 (2)

Cameron Falls, Aux Sable River North of Massey, Ontario.

Beautiful rock structures. Late evening to bring out detail. Low shutter speeds to put character into the flowing water to make it appear alive.

Cameron Falls has many small waterfalls to work with.

Rock And Water

Untitled_Panorama2

Along the West Branch Road North of Webbwood Northern Ontario.

This is a panoramic.

Running water,

Far from the maddening crowd.

In this time of a panoramic. It would be nice to stretch out on the rocks on the left.

Close your eyes. The sound of running water music to the ears.

Great memories

Rock Structures, Superior

Batchawana_2929

In 2014 I spent a great deal of time exploring the shorelines of Lake Superior in Ontario.

I was attracted by this formation of rock with its covering of moss. To get the best detail and color I photographed in the late evenings

Back In Time( Pukaskwa National Park )

Pukaskwa National Park. Rugged and wild.

A trip back in time. I am going through my files looking for unpublished photos.

I spent a number of summers alone the great Lake Superior. A great learning experience. Geography, History, Geology and many other things.

This is a very early morning shot . The rugged rocky shoreline. A touch of color

Streaky Lines

_MG_1922_5150

This an interesting photo that defines The colored streaks on the mountain side. My guess is that the line patterns are the result of avalanches over the years. Now with the sun low in the evening. The foreground is darker than the mountain top. The warm sun is highlighting the exposed rock created by the avalanche.
