Hiking or canoe
This is an early morning scene on OSA Lake, Killarney Provincial Park.
Think of yourself sitting at your campsite, coffee in hand. A cool crisp morning.
Calm and peaceful
The La Cloche Mountains in Fall colors
It is sometime in November
The Tamarack are gold and orange
I was wandering around a boggy area
The home of Tamarack
A splash of light caught my attention
A glow in an otherwise dark forest
I continued hiking and searching for photo opportunities outside of Cranbrook. I spotted this particular scene with added color. With the mountains in the background. Color on the ground for the foreground made for a pleasing scene.
Of interest was I noticed signs of Mule deer. There was an area where they bedded for the night. A pond was near by.
It is an interesting drive up the side of a mountain on a active logging road. Then it is a winding steep drive down the other side of the mountain to Lussier Hotsprings. The hotsprings are located in Whiteswan Provincial Park.
The Lussier River flows here. I walked down the trail to the river. I commence to capture the river with its Fall colors. It was a cloudy, cool day. As you will notice there is bits and pieces of Fall color here and there.
Whiteswan Provincial Park, BC
I was walking along the shore of Whiteswan Lake, I noticed water entering the lake.
I followed the stream up into the woods. The scene that you see here is what caught my eye. A little bit busy, but okay. There is enough color to enhance the composition
The fast moving mist or clouds created an ever changing scene. The clearing of the mist exposed this odd shaped rock structure.
Near Whiteswan Provincial Park, BC in the East Kootenays.
The mountains in the background. Rocky shoreline. A point of land with color. This allowed me to create this composition. The photo had originally been posted in color.
