Bassfin Lake 2

Bassfin Lake 2

Once again Bassfin Lake. The same location.

Different day with different lighting.

There is nice cloud cover.

I used the reflections on the water to the right as a lead in to the photo depth. Also for added dimension.

Killarney Lake Entrance

We had passed through this location a number of times over the years

I always liked what I saw.

Therefore I finally said lets plan a trip to photograph the that location.

We were always passing through in the middle of the day, onward to other locations.

We set up camp close by .

Here we were on a beautiful evening to capture the landscape.

Island, Onaping Lake

You will notice the evergreens that have reddish tops .

A sign of a disease maybe

AS a photographer i use that touch of color to my benefit.

It adds contrast and color to the photo.

It is to be observant to pick up on these small details

You may also notice the interesting cloud formation that morning

Ruth Roy Lake, Killarney Provincial Park

Ruth Roy Lake, Killarney Provincial Park

This is an interesting shot for the amount of depth created,

From foreground to background horizonal

To the depth in the water vertically

Terry Lake

TerryLake

This is another favorite photo. Captured at Terry Lake in Killarney Provincial  Park. A stop for lunch on shore. The lighting was gorgeous. It took an hour to get this shot due to the wind being fickle.

Streaky Lines

_MG_1922_5150

This an interesting photo that defines The colored streaks on the mountain side. My guess is that the line patterns are the result of avalanches over the years. Now with the sun low in the evening. The foreground is darker than the mountain top. The warm sun is highlighting the exposed rock created by the avalanche.
