Ruth Roy Lake, Killarney Provincial Park

This is an interesting shot for the amount of depth created,

From foreground to background horizonal

To the depth in the water vertically

Off We Go

Off We Go

The sun is coming up

Peeking through the trees

The birds are singing

The clouds are fleeing..

Grandpa gone to the barn

Off we go…

Through the ocean of grass

The wind she’s a blowing

Just me and the hound

Over the field,we bound

Full of joy and laughter

A boy and his dog…

Spring is here

The flowers are blooming

Across the field, down by the hedge

The grouse are drumming

Off we go…

An old logging road beckons

Calling to the hound

Down the road we bound

Off we go…

Hurrying past the barn

Grandpa milking the cows

Calling to the hound

His nose to the ground

Off we go…

A rabbit goes a running

The hound in pursuit

Just a baying

Off we go…

Through the sugar maple bush

That ole rabbit goes…

Twisting and a turning

We follow in a rush

That ole rabbit been around

For me and the hound

Now going slow…

Give up the hunt

With his tongue hanging

Comes the hound

Nose to the ground

Going slow…

Grandpa gone to the barn

Off we go…

Through the ocean of grass

The wind she’s a blowing

Just me and the hound

Over the field,we bound

Full of joy and laughter

A boy and his dog…
