Howe many remember The Beachcombers.
I had the opportunity to Go to Gibson, BC with my wonderful guide who is also my niece April to explore the The Beachcombers locale where the filming took place.

An evening spent at Stanley Park, Vancouver.
Brahm’s Tams Drum Circle is a semi-informal gathering of drummers at Stanley Park’s Third Beach on sunny Tuesday evenings in the summer.
Using a clump of evergreens as my foreground. A beautiful blue sky. One mountain in the background.
There is peace and quiet standing here. Let your eyes absorb the beauty. Let the day be yours. In the surrounding mountains.
The mountains in the background. Rocky shoreline. A point of land with color. This allowed me to create this composition. The photo had originally been posted in color.
An aimlessly drifting cloud. Early morning lighting. The patches of light highlight this composition . You can pick up on the patches of lighting going up the mountainside in two locations here. There is small detail here involving the morning light. Morning light is cool. Evening light is warm. A patch of shadow dominates the central of the composition. But there is detail available in that dark area along with the light touching certain elevated parts.

So enjoy the beauty of this composition.

This is a view of St Mary’s Lake BC. It is a view of the back end of the lake. My brother Bob and I turned on to a gravel logging road. The road climbed ‘higher and higher till we were traveling above St. Mary’s Lake. As is always the case on these roads, you are enclosed by trees on either side of you. When an open towards the lake appears, you can pull over and photograph.
Now here we have a scene of tremendous depth. The valley between the mountains goes to infinity. The shadows are deep. Beautiful clouds to fill the background.
