The time has past

My hair is silver now

Tomorrow never came

Our love has gone

My thoughts always turned to you

We never got to say I do

You were the shadow of my life

No matter where I went

But your memory will always

Will always,be cherished

But it is sad

What we really had

If only we knew

After all these years

I’m leaving the blues behind
