This composition was a creation from the South end of Bow Lake. You can see what I believe is a glacier. My brother will correct me on that. But what ever it is it sure stands out.

I have developed a never ending fascinating for the grandeur of Banff National Park, Alberta, The town of Banff. the mountain scenery, Lake Louise. It is all spell binding.

It was a cloudy morning on the shores of Lake Minniwanka Banff National Park. The lake water was not calm. I looked across to the far shore. The above composition caught my eye. I love the variation of the line patterns that can be seen. The dark shadows in the foreground to the ruggedness of the landscape create a unique composition.

A short drive from Kimberly, BC brought us to St. Mary’s Lake. A beautiful little lake. Mountains all around. My brother Bob and I spent a couple hours here as I proceeded to photograph.

Lake Louise, Banff National Park, Alberta

I discovered this little bay off of Lake Minniwanka. There was a point of land with some color. The lake water was quieting down a bit, so their was some reflection available. The towering mountains in the background

Along the highway. It was a pleasure driving through some of the most beautiful scenery in British Columbia. That is the Rocky Mountains

My brother Bob and I spent the night in the town of Banff. We booked into the The Elk and Avenue Hotel. The next morning we drove up to the scenic Lake Minniwanka. It was a cloudy dark day. I made the most of the conditions. I was able to get many shots working with the the patterns of nature

A touch of light upon the rocks. I added trees to the foreground. A touch of golden grass. This gave me my foreground to help show the lighting on the mountain top Near Cranbrook, BC
