The streets of Jinotega

A spur of the moment capture. I caught sight of the boy scooting down the street. I followed him with the lens.

Be My Sweetie

May the good Lord

Bless your heart

Giving me that endless

Love,love…

You are my sweetie

Oh, yeah baby

Sunshine and happiness

On every road we travel

You are my sweetie

Oh yeah baby

Sunshine and happiness

Only you can give

In my heart

You’ll always

Be my sweetie

Be my sweetie

Be my sweetie

May our love grow

To be true

And in my heart

You’ll always be mind

You are my sweetie

Oh yeah baby

Sunshine and happiness

Only you can give

Our love will not

Be in vain

My heart will always

Always be yours

I’ll be your prince

Build you that road

To travel to Heaven

You and I

In my heart

You’ll always

Be my sweetie

Be my sweetie

Be my sweetie

In my heart

You’ll always

Be my sweetie

Be my sweetie

Be my sweetie

You are my sweetie

Oh, yeah baby

Sunshine and happiness

On every road we travel

ON Duty

Jinotaga_0495

I was walking in a new neighborhood in Jinotega, that I had not been before. The lighting was good during a late afternoon. Rain was threatening. A rather large dog appeared on my left across the street.

The dog appeared quite suddenly, poking its head through a narrow opening in the metal door. There was a lot of vertical lines in the scene. Therefore I created a vertical composition.

The Jinotega Series1- Repairman

I was strolling the streets of Jinotega, Nicaragua looking for photo subjects. Just ahead of me was a gentleman repairing electrical motors. I asked if I may photograph him. With a smile I was giving permission. The result was this beautiful photo capturing him in action.

Tough Love

Tough Love

We met

At the cross road

Of our lives

Two lonely people

We had our good days

We had our bad days

But our love endured

But it was tough love

Tough love

Tough love

We were like a storm

Forever blowing in

But we always knew

There was always a calm

We always knew

There would be a calm

Before the storm

There was a passion

But we knew long ago

That we would know

That it would be

Tough love

Tough love

Tough love

We cried

We lied

We loved

Tough love

Tough love

Tough love

We met

At the cross road

Of our lives

Two lonely people

We had our good days

We had our bad days

But our love endured

But it was tough love

Tough love

Tough love

The Streets Of Jinotaga-Football

Every evening before dark, a group of young men play football in front of my house. They are nice lads. Friendly. I grabbed my camera and headed outdoors. One will stand in front of a wall. He is the goalie. Across the street the ball is set up for the shot. The objective is to put the ball pass the goalie and hit the wall. If the goalie stops the shot he gets another chance at stopping the ball. If not the lad that scores becomes the goalie.

Thus I was able to capture some action shots that evening.

Let The Day Be Ours

Let The Day Be Ours

I know you don’t

Love me

Stay awhile

Enjoy the day

We are just

Two lonely people

Always searching

For that one love

Come

Take my hand

Why don’t you stay

We can enjoy the day

Let this day be ours

We were lovers

So long ago

But got lost in time

So why don’t you stay…

Yesterday, yesterday…

Was so long ago

Tomorrow too far away

Let the day be ours

We could love again

Forget about yesterday

Just enjoy the day

Then maybe tomorrow

Why don’t you

Come home to stay

We will find a way

To share our love

I know you don’t

Love me

Stay awhile

Enjoy the day

Come

Take my hand

Why don’t you stay

We can enjoy the day

Let this day be ours

We are just

Two lonely people

Always searching

For that one love

Beautiful Warm Sunny Days

Spring has come and gone

The rainy season is over

Summer has arrived

In the mountains of Nicaragua

Beautiful warm sunny days

The land has become parched

Leaves have fallen

Over the dry land
